The CKF is proud and excited to announce a unique opportunity to female Iaidoka in Canada and to our friends around the world. On July 16 and 17, Atsumi Hatakenaka-Sensei (Kyoshi 8 Dan), the most senior, active female Iaido sensei in the world, will be leading a seminar focused on developing women in Iaido.

Sensei will not only work with participants on improving their own training methods and practices, but also impart her knowledge, experience, and advice for thriving in a martial arts world growing in gender diversity.

Saturday will be an exclusive seminar for helping our female Iaidoka develop their skills, while Sunday will be opened to all other practitioners 4-Dan and above to align on learnings from the previous day and receive guidance on instructing a wide variety of students.

Fees:
  • General Registration $75 - Saturday only OR Both Days (Women)
  • Open Registration $60 - Sunday only (Women of any rank, Men of 4-Dan+)
  • Bento Lunch $15 - Each day
  • Banquet $30 - Saturday

A raffle will be held at the end of the seminar on Sunday. In addition to Sensei's donations, please feel free to bring other items related to Iaido, Budo, or Japan. Thanks in advance for support!
